So we are past the issues of stopping the whole pumping thing. I am all better now! At least I know what to do the next time and what to expect.
I am filling out invitations for Mallory's first birthday party. I CAN"T BELIEVE IT! A year went by so quickly. It's like I took a nap and woke up and my baby girl is almost walking. Where did the time go? I just look at the pictures and I want to cry. If every year goes this fast I will be old and Mallory will be grown and out of the house before too long. What'll I do then? I can't even think about it. So the invitations are adorable. Ashley Williams from http://greatgrabbiedesigns.blogspot.com/ created them. She is amazing! Thanks Ash for creating these on such a short notice!!!
On top of planning Mal's party I am also a counselor at Jr. Camp this year for my church. Most churches call it VBS, it's essentially the same thing. However, the last time I was a counselor I was in my early 20's and in college and now I'm a mom and am knocking on 30 so it is wearing me out! My team is the Butterfinger-Yellow Team. I have 17 girls and guys. For the most part they are a great team. We are currently in 3rd place in the points standing, but we still have 3 more days. Alot can happen. This is coming from someone who is VERY competitive and who hates to loose. So we are working hard to gain as many points as possible to regain the lead. Thursday is my day to teach the afternoon object lesson. I am nervous about this because there is alot of material and alot of adults. I am used to teaching to a bunch of kids and just a few teachers/workers are usually present. This will be the first time that about 2o adults will be present. One might say this isn't a big deal, but adults are WAY more judgmental than kiddos. I guess I need to keep reminding myself that it is for the kids to learn and the Lord to get the glory. I'm sure I'll do fine, I just need to regain my focus. I guess I can now that Mallory's invitations are printed, addressed and ready to be mailed.
I am on vacation this week yet I don't really feel like it. I am trying to enjoy my time off in the evenings, but Jr. Camp is exhausting. I did get caught up on organizing my photos (electronically). I even printed some and even picked them up. Which rarely happens (let me clarify...doing one is not so difficult for me, but the fact that I got all of this done is an acheivement.)
I guess that is all of the updates that I have.
